Associate of Arts Degree:
The following is a list of requirements for admission to the Associate of Arts degree program. Any person desiring to enter the Associate of Arts (AA) program must submit the following documents:
• A completed application for admission specifying a desire to enter the Associate of Arts degree program
• A high school diploma, transcript, or equivalent (GED)
• Score report from ACT
• Official transcripts from all colleges or universities attended
• Three completed recommendations (forms included in admissions packet) mailed by the persons recommending the applicant.
• A two (2) page essay citing the applicants experience of conversion and calling to Christian service, educational background, motivation for enrollment, and future professional goals
Bachelor of Arts Degree:
• A completed application for admission specifying a desire to enter the Bachelor of Arts degree program
• A high school diploma, transcript, or equivalent (GED)
• Score report from ACT if not already on file in the Admissions Office
• Official transcripts from all colleges or universities attended
• Three completed recommendations (forms included in admissions packet) mailed by the persons recommending the applicant.
• A two (2) page essay citing the applicants experience of conversion and calling to Christian service, educational background, motivation for enrollment, and future professional goals
Bachelor of Theology Degree:
• A completed application for admission specifying a desire to enter the Bachelor of Theology degree program
• A high school diploma, transcript, or equivalent (GED)
• Score report from ACT if not already on file in the Admissions Office
• Official transcripts from all colleges or universities attended
• Diploma or transcripts showing the successful completion of the Bachelor’s degree (BA or equivalent) at an accredited college or university (for non Simmons College of Kentucky graduates).
• Three completed recommendations (forms included in admissions packet) mailed by the persons recommending the applicant.
• A five (5) page essay citing the applicants experience of conversion and calling to Christian service, educational background, motivation for enrollment, and future professional goals
NOTE: Any exception to the above stated admission policies must be approved by a majority vote of the Faculty Senate. A formal request for an exception must be made in writing and presented to the Admissions Office.
