How can I contribute to Higher Education?
The Elevation Fund raising campaign for Simmons was launched to commemorate the Uuniversity’s founding in 1879. The goal is to raise $1 million annually.
Why 1 million annually? The Elevation campaign will allow the entire Simmons to strengthen the school, celebrate its rich legacy and secure our future as one of the state’s premiere institutions of learning.
Specifically, the campaign will provide resources needed to strengthen our faculty, provide students adequate financial assistance and prepare them for a new technological era. We are actively seeking funds for scholarships and the enhancement of our technological infrastructure throughout the college. Simmons receives its principal sources of revenue through tuition; gifts from corporations, foundations, church, and individuals. As with nearly all colleges and universities, the actual cost of educating a student at Simmons exceeds the tuition charged to each student. Tthe campaign for Simmons seeks to close the cost gap by gaining new private support from corporations, foundations and individuals. Yyour gift to the campaign supports this endeavor and assures future generations of Simmons students a superior, affordable education in a strong academic environment composed of expert faculty and modern facilities. |
