Critical Feeling is the reflective use of emotions that is focused on:

  • Guiding attention
  • Evaluating information
  • Guiding action…according to our chosen values.

This semester, we will explore the critical engagement of emotions to achieve our goals. Positive emotional

engagement helps us to learn enthusiasm for the subject matter makes learning quicker and easier,

motivation is a critical feeling, and anticipation is a critical feeling.
