CELEBRATING BLACK HISTORY MONTH
As we embrace the Spring 2025 semester at Simmons College of Kentucky, we honor the rich legacy of Black excellence that defines our beloved HBCU. Black History Month is a time of reflection, celebration, and inspiration—but our history is more than a month; it is a living testament to resilience, brilliance, and progress.
This semester, we proudly highlight the impactful work of our colleagues, showcase the innovative programs led by DTAL, and explore new ways to empower Simmons Nation and our greater community. We hope this newsletter enriches your journey and deepens your appreciation for Black history—not just in February but all year.
Thank you for your dedication to teaching and learning. Let’s continue to make history together!
Peacefully,
Dr. Tytianna Ringstaff
