Simmons College of Kentucky and The Reverend Jesse Louis Jackson, Sr. Center for Racial Justice is presenting a City-Wide Book Club event as a part of the #BlackHistorySeason programming slate. The book club event will take place on Thursday, February 22nd at 6:30pm at St. Matthews Episcopal Church, and will also stream live on the SCKY Facebook page. The featured book is Dr. Carol Anderson’s “One Person, No Vote: How Voter Suppression Is Destroying Our Democracy”, and the book is currently available at Carmichael’s Bookstore.
