Celebrating National HBCU Week 2025
Simmons College of Kentucky is proud to join in celebrating National HBCU Week 2025 with a week full of events honoring the history, legacy, and bright future of Historically Black Colleges and Universities. From Sunday, September 7 through Friday, September 12, students, alumni, faculty, and the broader community are invited to participate in meaningful gatherings that uplift education, culture, and connection.
We dedicate this week to honoring the rich history, culture, and contributions of Historically Black Colleges and Universities while highlighting the vital role we continue to play in shaping future leaders.
Each day of the celebration will spotlight a different theme. National HBCU Week at Simmons will not only honor tradition but also inspire the next generation to carry the HBCU legacy forward. We invite students, alumni, partners, and the greater community to join us as we celebrate excellence, achievement, and the enduring power of HBCUs.
