Simmons College of Kentucky is preparing to welcome its newest Falcons during New Student Orientation 2026 (NSO), an important first step in beginning the college journey. The event will provide incoming students with the opportunity to connect with faculty, staff, and fellow students while completing the important steps needed to begin their semester successfully.
What You Can Expect
Check in at 8:30am
New Student Orientation will take place on June 27 at 8:30am (and again on July 25) at Central Presbyterian Church in Louisville. Students are encouraged to arrive on time and come prepared to complete enrollment steps, meet members of the Simmons community, and begin building connections that will support their success.
As part of the NSO experience, students will have the opportunity to:
- Complete academic registration and finalize their class schedule
- Meet faculty, staff, and campus leaders
- Learn about campus resources, student support services, and scholarship opportunities
- Receive guidance on financial aid and enrollment requirements
- Connect with fellow incoming Falcons and begin building their Simmons community
Before attending orientation, incoming students should complete the following checklist:
New Student Orientation Checklist
✓ Submit official high school and/or college transcripts
✓ Complete the FAFSA and add Simmons College of Kentucky using School Code: 041780
✓ Complete the Intent to Enroll form
✓ Prepare any remaining enrollment documents
At Simmons, orientation is more than a registration event. It’s the beginning of each student’s journey as part of the Falcon family.
