FAFSA FAQ
OVERVIEW
The free application for student aid is a government form completed by prospective or current students seeking financial aid to attend college/university.
It is best to complete your FAFSA as soon as possible on or after October 1st of each year, as some funds are awarded on a first come, first serve basis.
Log in or create an account at www.fafsa.gov.
FILLING OUT THE FAFSA
The 2022-2023 FAFSA will use your 2020 tax information. We recommend using the built-in IRS Data Retrieval Tool to import your tax information directly.
Some students are required to provide parent information on the FAFSA. The FAFSA will determine if you are a dependent and need to provide this information.
Simmons College of Kentucky's school code is 041780.
